FURNITURE STORY LTD · Companies House 12690767 · VAT GB 364395668 · www.furniture-story.co.uk

This agreement is a contractual arrangement between the supplier (Furniture Story) and the consumer (you) for the purchase of goods. The contract is considered finalised when you commit to buying the goods and we commit to supplying them, which takes place upon our confirmation and acceptance of your order via email.

Before placing an order, please consider:

  • Ensure easy access for furniture delivery, checking door widths, stairs, lifts, and passageways.
  • Verify if the furniture will fit in the intended room.
  • Determine whether you require a left-hand or right-hand corner sofa, based on the perspective when standing in front of it (not while sitting on it).

To address any further inquiries or concerns, please email us at info@furniture-story.co.uk.

Your purchase details

Please take note of the following details regarding your purchase (as listed separately on your sales agreement): the specific items you have agreed to purchase; the purchase price; any outstanding balance to be paid; the payment method used; and the estimated availability date for furniture delivery.

Quality Assurance

Furniture Story, as one of the UK's leading specialist furniture retailers, places a strong emphasis on quality, durability, and value in its selection process. Before entering into a supply agreement with any manufacturer, our buying team conducts thorough inspections and assessments of both the factory and the manufacturing methods employed for every model and design. Upholstery and sofas, being handmade products, may exhibit natural variations and inconsistencies.

Warranty

In addition to your statutory rights as a UK consumer, Furniture Story provides a complimentary 2-year warranty with every new furniture purchase. Full details, coverage and exclusions are set out in our Warranty page.

Cancellation & returns

Your cancellation and return rights are set out in our Returns policy and consumer law. Made-to-order items are exempt unless faulty.

Velour, Chenille and Velvet Fabrics

Velvet knitted fabrics are classified as velour materials that exhibit uneven shading during use. This shading effect is a natural characteristic of velour products, caused by the unidirectional arrangement of fibres, and is not a technological defect nor an indication of decreased value.

Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are ready to participate in extra-judicial dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
